Eden Nelson Brandão Soares

is a highly skilled and accomplished Cape Verdean artist with expertise in various domains such as illustration, mural painting, and graphic design. He also has a deep appreciation for human connection. Born on March 24, 1972, in the picturesque city of Rotterdam in the Netherlands, Eden's family relocated to Portugal as an infant and settled in the United States when he turned four.

From an early age, Eden exhibited exceptional creativity, which later led him to discover the art of graffiti, a new form of design that captivated his imagination. Fueling his passion for design, he pursued Drafting during his junior high school years, where he honed his technical and meticulous skills, ultimately guiding him toward the craft of architectural design. After completing his high school education, Eden made the decision to further his studies at the renowned Hall Institute of Technology in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, specializing in Drafting Technology and Computer-Aided Design, and graduating with distinction.

At the age of 21, Eden acquired his inaugural computer, dedicating himself to mastering the fundamental concepts of Photoshop within a span of one month. These accomplishments facilitated his admission to Mount Ida College in Newton Centre, Boston, where he undertook further endeavors to refine his aptitude in computer design.

For more than 30 years, Eden has lived and breathed Graphic Design and Art, using creativity as his way to tell stories and uplift communities. His journey has taken him from working as Design Director for Fronto King, LLC, to launching Trigrfx in 2015—a freelance design service that helped countless entrepreneurs bring their visions to life.

But Eden’s deepest calling has always been cultural. After retiring from freelance work in May 2025, he transformed his ventures to focus on what matters most: identity and heritage. Trigrfx.com now stands as a platform for bold graffiti-inspired apparel, honoring his roots in street art. At the same time, CVEDEN was born—a clothing line devoted entirely to Cape Verdean-inspired design.

CVEDEN exists to do more than just create fashion. It’s about giving Cape Verdeans everywhere a way to wear their pride, their culture, and their story. Every piece is designed with authenticity, creativity, and a deep love for the islands—bridging the cultural gap in fashion and reminding Cape Verdeans that their identity is powerful, beautiful, and worth celebrating.

Eden Soares is an individual who possesses deep compassion and commitment toward individuals who are less fortunate. In the year 2013, he made a conscious decision to embark on a transformative journey by visiting an Orphanage located in the Cape Verde Islands, accompanied by fellow members of the esteemed Cape Verdean Student Association from the renowned University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. During his visit, Eden generously contributed his professional design expertise towards the welfare and betterment of these children, while the members of the CVSA selflessly donated vital educational, medical, and hygiene resources. Eden dedicated his valuable time to the creation of murals and designs specifically tailored for the baby room, girls' bedroom, boys' bedroom, and the designated area for celebrating birthdays. Additionally, he personally crafted and hand-painted the distinctive logo and business name, adorning the entrance of this honorable establishment.

In 2015, Eden sought to sustain his compassionate connection with these young souls by revisiting the same Orphanage, further deepening the bond he shares with these resilient individuals. During this return visit, Eden thoughtfully bestowed individually wrapped gifts upon his cherished young friends, symbolically representing his enduring love and support for their well-being.
